1. 관계대명사 who, which

관계대명사란? 두 문장 중에 겹치는 명사 하나를 생략하고,  두 문장을 한 문장으로 만드는 것

 

역할: 접속사 + 대명사 역할

 

품사: 형용사절(~하는)

 

판별법: 선행사 있고, 관계대명사를 기준으로, 뒷 문장은 불완전하다.

 

This is the man and he lives next door.

=>This is the man who lives next door.

 

 

This is the man and I met him yesterday.

=>This is the man whom I met yesterday.

 

 

This is the man and he is wearing a hat.

=>This is the man who is wearing a hat.

 

 

He is the man and I thought he was honest.

=>He is the man who I thought was honest.

 

 

Take a report and it is on the desk.

=>Take a report which is on the desk.

 

 

Animals are not happy and they are in cages.

=>Animals are not happy which are in cages.

=>Animals which are in cages are not happy
